AAHHHH!

We just switched to firefox from Internet Explorer, and now my blog looks really retarded on my computer. I don't know if it looks the same on yours or if it looks the same as before. But if it looks funny, do you know how to fix it? If so please let me now because I can't stand it and if there is no way to fix it I don't know if I can continue blogging.

Las Vegas, Wedding, Birthdays Very Busy!!!

So here is an overview of what we have been doing the last 2 weeks.

Gracey and Brooklyn at the M&M World

This is at the MGM Grand, The Lion Habitat. I had to take a picture of this guy that was in there with the lion's. If you look close on the far left of the picture the guy is laying down next to the lion and he is totally SPOONING the lion!! I thought that was pretty funny. What some men will do for a little action!HAHA I know the guy was just trying to get a reaction out of the crowd and he definately got it.

These pictures are not in order as they happened. This is a picture of Gracey and BRooklyn at the wedding, and then on the right is a picture of us walking out of the casino to go outside to see the Limo pick up Jackie. We went out the back way because Jackie didn't want anymore people to see her. I think she was a little emberassed.

Oh how cute!!

This is Jaren and Brooklyn's birthday cake(as you can tell). I feel really bad that they didn't get a real birthday party. Jaren's Birthday was the day after we got home from Vegas and Brooklyn's was the day before the reception. So I thought it would be really hard to get everyone together when we were'nt doing wedding things,so since we were all together, right before the second reception on Saturday we went to Sam's Club and bought a cake. I would've bought a princess one for Brooklyn but I didn't feel it was appropriate for Jaren so we got a Christmas one.

Gracey was just as excited or probably more than Brooklyn was opening her presents. I guess when you have a sister it's like having two birthdays in a year. We didn't even blow out birthday candles because Brooklyn fell asllep right when we were getting ready to do it, and I didn't think Jaren wanted to be sung to, so we didn't sing and we didn't blow out candles. So Brooklyn's 2nd birthday wasn't a very memorable one, just that we really didn't have one, so sorry Brooklyn.
Christmas needs to wait another week, I think I am about a week behind. I have been so busy doing vinyl I have not had time to christmas shop, nobody this year gets any crafts because I don't have time and I am sick of doing them, and to say the least we don't even have a Christmas tree yet. Ya I know it's a week before Christmas and we don't even have a tree yet. We have been so busy we have not had time to go get one. I think I am going to hit the clearance sales after Christmas to buy a fake one, we just probably won't get one that's 18 feet tall!
Well I hope everybody has a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR, because I don't think I will have time to post anything else, I shouldn't even be posting right now I have a lot to do still, so if you are reading this and you ordered vinyl from me I hope I get it done. NO, I am totally just kidding I WILL get it done!!

It's Official! I am a farmers wife!

Ya, That's me in there!

Lately we have been getting alot of people wanting us to plow their ground for them and Jaren has been getting busier with his mechanic business, but he was the only one that was able to do any of it. So since we are supposed to be leaving for Las Vegas on Thursday I thought I would be a good wife and go and try to plow for him. I have swathed and baled for him before and well lets just say it was not good the first time around. But today was pretty good we got in it and he plowed for a minute and then showed me how. It took a couple of times to get the hang of it, but actually it was pretty easy. It was funny today when we were talking about if I wanted to go and plow, but didn't really want to and I told him I had never even driven the tractor before. He said" You are my wife and you have never driven the tractor before?" So needless to say he wasn't going to not let me get out of this one. So before I learned how to plow I had to learn to drive the tractor. I am so proud of myself!!!!! So now when I wear those farm girl shirts, it will be true not just something I claim I know how to do.

BuSy bUsY!!

Holey Cow where has the time gone. Thanksgiving is next week, and this year it's a week later. I have been sooo busy. With Jackie getting married in a couple of weeks, I have been designing her invitations, printing her invitations which didn't take that long because I took them to News Examiner and they printed them for me in about 10 min. And it only cost $13 for 500 invitations(there were 2 on each page) That is the way to go! Then this past week I have been trying to get ready for the craft fair. So this year I am trying not to procrastinate. Last year was a bad deal. But this year I keep thinking that I have more time because Thankksgiving is a week later, but it is sneeking up on me very quickly. So I have a question, What do you consumers like? What kind of crafts do you like and would want to see? Should I make a few things that are just vinyl? I shouldv'e asked this a long time ago, but haven't had time. I have a lot of things that I have done. I will post pictures, but I just want to know what you WOMEN out there want. So the craft fair is the day after Thanksgiving at the Oregon Trail Center in Montpelier, So come and see us.

Jackie's Bachelorette Party

That's the Bride!

We had a really good time. We went to a spa and salon in Logan. My mom knew the Lady that worked there so she gave us a good deal. We got a pedicure, manicure, and a 10 min back massage. That massage was awesome, I dang near fell asleep I wanted to climb up on the bed and go to sleep. Brooklyn and Gracey were good. Every time we paint her nails at home she wants to do it, but she she just sat there and held still the whole time. How come it is that your kids are always better for other people? It was fun so thanks Mom for the great time.

Jackie is getting married!

We are so excited about this, she has been waiting a long time for the right one. And she finally found him! His name is Marshael Tripp. They are so cute together. She finally found someone who is taller than her. They are getting mariied in Las Vegas on December 5. So it's a planned Vegas wedding. I am excited to go, we have never stopped in Las Vegas, we have driven through many times but never stopped. And it is also during the NFR so we get to go to Cowboy Christmas they call it and get great deals on clothes. We don't get to go to the rodeo because we are only going to be there for three days and two of those days we are driving to and from Vegas. But we are so excited for Jackie and Marshael.

GrACEy GrAcEY!!

Gracey's first day doing her hair

My first day doing my hair A better picture of me in first grade
Ever since Gracey was born my mom always kept saying "You know Gracey is going to be just like you" What she meant by that was, ever since I was in first grade I started doing my own hair, and ever since. I would never let my mom do my hair, I guess she couldn't do it as well as I did. haha So on Wednesday she told me right before preschool "Mom, I am going to do my own hair today,ok." I have been dreading this day for a long time. Before she would let me do her hair, but she would tell me me how to do it. So when she told me that she wanted to do it, I inevitably(is that the right word) said "yes, but just let me part it" She wouldn't even let me part it. So this is what she looked like. She is supposed to be a witch for halloween and I asked her if she was going to wear her hat and she said no because it would mess her hair up. I wanted her to wear it so it would cover up her hair. I know I am a mean mom. So I guess your kids always turn out to be JUST LIKE YOU. BUt I guess I can't complain because she didn't look that bad, atleast she doesn't know how to rat, yet. (knock on wood). As you can tell in my picture on the first day I did my hair my bangs stood five inches tall. Isn't life just GREAT!!

Pumkins!

This is my way of carving pumkins. It took about, ooh 2 minutes. When I seen the idea the vinyl was on some fake pumkins. So I looked for some fake pumkins and do you know how much FAKE pumkins are? They are about $25, stupid huh? So I didn't want to spend that much money ona fake one so we got real ones. And it works pretty good.

Gracey wanted to have her picture taken by the pumkins. Then she wanted to have her Dad be in the picture too. As you can tell he was really excited. Isn't he the best father ever? I sure think so.

iFly Utah!

We had the greatest time here. It all started when my step-mom and Jackie wanted to take my Dad skydiving for his 50th birthday. My Grandma Bradford caught wind of that and thought," oh no you won't." So she got it set up that we all go to this iFly thing in Ogden. When we got there you had to sign a waiver that said pretty much if you "DIE" it's not their fault. When I read that I didn't know if this was going to be fun or not. But I went along with it because Jaren wouldn't let me chicken out, and at this point I was thinking that being a chicken was better than being a dead person. Well we had to watch a five minute video on different hand signals the instructors used to communicate with us while we were in there flying. So we got suited up and went into the "chamber" where we all waited for our turn to fly.I of course DID NOT want to go first, everybody made the birthday boy go first. So what it is is a big tube thing, probably about 8 to 10 feet in diameter, not very big. They have a huge fan system underneath you blowing air. There is a grate just under you so you don't fall through, of course. So they turn on the fan and then you fall into the tube and start flying. The insrtuctor is in there trying to help you with the correct position so you are able to fly better. Our first ime around we stayed in their for a minute, which was mostly just getting the hang of it. Then we went a second time we still only went for a minute, but the instructor took us up higher so we were both in their flying. It was pretty dang cool. It wasn't near as scary as it looks. We got a DVD of everybody flying, I wish there were some way you could watch it. So all we have are pictures. Sorry about the glare there was a lot of glass everywhere. So Enjoy!

Jaren and I just before going in.

Jaren flying!

This is ME!

This is all of us after we were done and thank goodness

nobody died.

These are our certifiates that we got when we were done.

Sorry about the dead space I put this post on here and noticed it was puting all this dead space on here so I deleted it and saved it as a draft and then was going to try and do another one because it bugged me so bad, but I didn't want to retype everything, so I am going to leave it. I would add more pictures but I am afraid it will create more dead space. So, Sorry.

SnOW... Not in October

This post is for those of you who don't live in Bear Lake, how lucky are you!
This is what we woke up to Saturday morning, and then by that night. This is what we had.

Then on Sunday morning we had a few more inches, but it was too cold to put my shoes on and go out there and measure it again. Just take my word for it. The snow wouldn't be as bad(it's still pretty bad) if we had our grain cut, but WE DON'T. Good thing we have a grain dryer. And we aren't the only ones that don't have it cut, so that makes me feel a little better. But hopefully it melts next week or it's going to be a looonng MISERABLE winter. So we tried to make the most out of it, Gracey has been out sleigh riding a couple of times already. You can NEVER rely on Bear Lake weather.

Our Newest Employee!

Yesterday I had been out helping Jaren with a car he was working on, then the phone rang so I went inside. When I came back outside Gracey was in the car turning it over to try and start it while Jaren was under the hood trying to see why it wouldn't start. Jaren had pushed a screwdriver through the key hole so all Gracey had to do was turn the screwdriver. What's next? driving a car when she's five. Jaren said he learned how to drive when he was five. I guess your never too young to learn anything!

New Business!

This is our business flyer that will come out on Wednesday in the Montpelier newspaper. Jaren is really excited about starting his own business, he has always wanted to do this. I hope that it works out for him. Starting up your own business is taking a big leap of faith, you just don't know if it's going to work out the way you planned out in your mind. Jaren is very optimistic, I am trying to be. I am a kindof person that likes to know things and how they are going to end up, how much money and when. I don't just fly by the seat of my pants and hope it will work itself out. Anyway so if any of you need something fixed please call Jaren, he is really good at what he does. We are just going to do it out of our garage until we get things up and going. And also we are very inexpensive compared to the other shops around here.Wish us luck!

1st day of preschool!

Today was Gracey's first day of preschool. She was pretty excited up until a couple of days ago when I told her that she needed to start going to bed early and waking up earlier, then she wasn't excited anymore. Which I don't blame her because I like to sleep in too. But I am excited to get on a schedule for the first time in my life. She wasn't scared when we got there the teacher had a quick orientation and then I left and she wasn't sad at all. And I didn't even cry. When I picked her up she was really excited about it. I asked her what she did and she said" I learned about a flag and we learned words to the flag," I figured out that she learned the pledge of allegiance. Then she said she colored and that was all I could get out of her. So I think it will be a good experience for her.

Happy Bithday Gracey!

I can not believe Gracey is 4 already. She is growing up so fast. She had a great birthday. Wednesday we had a little party with her friends and played some games. Then on saturday 4 sets of Grandparents came over and had dinner. I just want to tell all the Grandparents how thankful I am for them and how much it means for me for them to travel all the way over here for a birthday party! It was great.

Joys of living in the mountains!

I was on my way to paris today and this is what I came across. I took the picture with my phone and then later realized I had my good camera in the car, I was a little mad 'cause I could've got a better picture but all well. Anyway, I kept driving and a little bit down the road was a cow(mommy moose) and a calf(baby moose) running down the road, I wasn't able to get a picture of them though. If you lived in the city you wouldn't be able to enjoy these beautiful sites. Well I take that back I got an email once of a herd of elk in a subdivision in a town somewhere, but that is very unlikely.

These are all the recent projects I have done. I am going to redo the other project posts and arrange them so they are in seperate categories in my blog archive, so you can go there and look at them.
